Compared with the current GB/T4357 and GB/T4358 standards, the standard of carbon spring steel wire for aviation in spring factories pays more attention to the combination of strength and toughness of each specification of steel wire. On the basis of ensuring toughness, spring factories make the tensile strength of steel wire at the highest level as far as possible. Group Ⅰ steel wire is equivalent to group D and group F steel wire. When the wire diameter is less than 1.4mm, the tensile strength and torsion times of group ⅰ steel wire are much higher than those of group D and group F steel wire. The tensile strength of the steel wire in the diameter range of 1.6 ~ 4.0mm is similar to that of D and F group, but the number of torsion is higher than that of D and F group. When the diameter of steel wire is > 4.0mm, the tensile strength is similar to that of group F, but lower than that of class D steel wire. Group Ⅱ steel wire is equivalent to group C and group E steel wire, but its toughness (torsion times) index is higher than group C and group E steel wire, the difference of tensile strength of the three steel wire is similar to group Ⅰ steel wire, but the difference is small.
